Welcome!,
My name is David "Dave" Myers and I am 43. I have five children (three step and two of my own) aged 28, 27, 21, 17, and 13. I have been married to my wife Kim for 18 years. We currently live in Glenvil, a small rural community in south-central Nebraska.
I was in the United States Air Force for 20 years, 1 month. During that time frame I and my family experienced quite allot. From being assigned to stateside units in Texas, Alaska, Utah, and Washington to European assignments in southern Italy and the United Kingdom. During my assignments I had temporary duties in Sicily, Germany, Turkey, Iraq and the Gambia as well as security/transportation duty during the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.

For duties performed as Superintendent, Medical Logistics Flight, 92nd Medical Support Squadron, Fairchild AFB, Washington, Air Mobility Command

Air Force Commendation Medal- 1993
For duties performed as the noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Military Construction Project Office and Air Transportable Hospital.

Army Commendation Medal- 1996
For duties performed as senior driver/security personnel at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta Georgia

Air Force Achievement Medal ( 3x ) 1982, 1991, 1995
For duty performed at the Air Force Regional Hospital, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska
For duties performed as the NCOIC, Air Transportable Hospital at the Humanitarian Support Base, Silopi Turkey in the aftermath of Desert Storm (Provide Comfort)
For action under fire during a shooting incident at the hospital in Fairchild AFB, Washington, which left 23 wounded and 5 dead

For duty performed at the Humanitarian Support Base, Silopi Turkey and the refugee camp in Zahko, Iraq during Operation Provide Comfort
